As the QA Executive for Private Label Quality at the vendor’s end, the role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products sourced through our vendors. This position involves overseeing raw material (RM) checks, monitoring vendor processes, and ensuring the highest standards of in-process quality control (IPQC) and final goods (FG) release. Additionally, the candidate will manage customer complaints, drive root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure seamless coordination with the sourcing team.
Key Responsibilities
Raw Material (RM) Quality Assurance:
Perform comprehensive RM checks at all vendor locations to ensure adherence to predefined quality standards.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve noncompliance issues promptly.
In-process Quality Control (IPQC)
Oversee IPQC activities to ensure productive and effective sorting, grading, cleaning, and packing processes.
Implement and monitor control measures to maintain product consistency and reduce rework or wastage.
Final Goods (FG) Quality Checks
Ensure all FG are rigorously inspected before release to confirm compliance with specifications and packaging standards.¢ Identify and address deviations to prevent market complaints.
¢ Vendor Process Monitoring
¢ Supervise vendor manufacturing and processing practices to ensure alignment with company quality guidelines.
¢ Support vendors in achieving operational excellence through continuous improvements.
¢ Process Audits
¢ Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities and processes to evaluate adherence to quality systems and food safety standards.
¢ Generate detailed audit reports and ensure closure of identified gaps within stipulated timelines.
