Guardian Capital Investment Advisors is hiring an HR Intern to join our Human Resources team This is a great opportunity to get hands-on exposure across HR Operations, Hiring & Recruitment, and HR Projects at a fast-growing wealth and asset management firm.

About the Role
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR function end-to-end — from documentation and onboarding to sourcing and process improvement. You'll work closely with the HR team and get real ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

HR Operations
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and trackers
Support onboarding/offboarding formalities and induction scheduling
Assist in preparing offer letters, appointment letters, and other employment documentation
Track attendance, leave, and probation/confirmation timelines
Support HR audits and compliance documentation

Hiring & Recruitment
Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases




Screen resumes and shortlist candidates against role requirements
Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers
Draft and post job descriptions
Maintain the recruitment tracker and candidate pipeline

HR Projects
Support HR infrastructure initiatives (JD standardisation, compensation structuring, policy documentation)
Assist with rollout/testing of HR systems
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Own small projects end-to-end with guidance from the HR team

Requirements:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets)
Detail-oriented and comfortable handling confidential information
Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Prior HR/recruitment internship exposure is a plus, not mandatory
