Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement creative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D;) team.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Smart Power Division in Hyderabad, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- You will research the latest advancements in data analytics and AI within embedded systems, and design develop and implement proof-of-concept prototypes.
- You perform unit testing, integration testing,



and system testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
- You will be responsible for documenting your work, sharing your findings, and assisting teams in integrating the outcomes of your efforts into their products.
- You contribute to discussions of intellectual property and secure patent rights for ABB by driving the IP creation.
- You monitor technology developments and technologies to identify technical drivers for R&D; projects, supported by your thorough understanding of key business drivers for ABB’s products and solutions.
- You participate in internal and external networks to expand your knowledge of your area of expertise.
- You take responsibility for firmware development activities, including risk identification, alignment with targets, and close coordination with suppliers and other functions (e.g. product management).

Qualifications for the role :
- PhD or M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronic, Elec
