Role Description
The Owner at SAE Phoenix Aero is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Surat Area, responsible for overall strategic direction, operations, and team leadership. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing project pipelines, coordinating design and build activities, and ensuring that aircraft and drone projects meet safety, performance, and educational goals.



The role involves mentoring student members, facilitating workshops and training sessions, and collaborating with faculty, industry partners, and SAE representatives to secure resources and opportunities. The Owner manages budgets, sponsorships, and events, including competitions, demonstrations, and outreach initiatives that promote the club’s work. This role also includes setting quality standards, maintaining documentation, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture that supports innovation and skill development.

Qualifications
- Strong background in aeromodelling, aerospace, or mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and building radio-controlled aircraft or drones.
