Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Analyze product requirements towards functional test solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect design and manufacturing requirements and ensure seamless integration
- Design PCB interface solutions using Cadence PCB tool (Allegro / OrCAD) including schematic/layout as applicable
- Create and maintain 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, including drawing checks and alignment with Infineon standards
- Integrate test hardware interface requirements into PCB design documentation (interfaces, outlines, mounting, keep-outs, etc.)
- Apply and improve existing company templates, rules, and design guidelines
- Contribute to PCB design and innovation projects as a project team member or technical contributor
- Work closely with international partners from test engineering, package development, external suppliers, Infineon production sites, and external test houses
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test hardware or automated test equipment (ATE) industry
- Hands-on experience with Cadence tools (Allegro/OrCAD) for PCB design is mandatory – including schematic capture, layout, and design rule setup
- Experience with PCB manufacturing and assembly processes (DFM/DFA principles)
- Experience working with PCB designs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D mechanical drawing creation and design checks
