Role & responsibilities :

The Assistant/Deputy Manager Institutional (Project) Sales will be responsible for driving cement sales across Raigarh and the adjoining markets by developing business with institutional customers, infrastructure projects, EPC contractors, industrial customers, government agencies, ready-mix concrete (RMC) plants, and large builders. The role focuses on maximizing sales volumes, improving realization, expanding market share, and ensuring timely collections while delivering superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development
- Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets.
- Identify and convert current business opportunities in infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects.
- Develop a robust pipeline of institutional customers, including EPC contractors, real estate developers, government departments, PSUs, RMC manufacturers, and large construction companies.
- Prepare territory business plans and customer acquisition strategies aligned with company objectives.





Project Sales & Key Account Management
- Track upcoming and ongoing construction projects across Raigarh, Korba, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Jashpur, and adjoining industrial belts.
- Build strong relationships with project owners, consultants, architects, structural engineers, procurement heads, and site teams.
- Conduct regular site visits to influence product specifications and secure orders during the planning and execution stages.
- Manage key institutional accounts to maximize repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Commercial Excellence
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts within the approved pricing framework.
- Ensure profitable sales through effective realization management.
- Monitor receivables and ensure collections are achieved within agreed credit terms.
- Work closely with finance to minimize overdue accounts.
