Market Setup/Breakdown Assistant
We can’t run the Market without you — literally Help us set up shop and shut things down each Market day as our new Market Setup/Breakdown Assistant.
In this vital volunteer role, you’ll help the Market Manager set up the Market each Thursday and then lead the breakdown at closing time. Setup should take roughly an hour, with a start time between 11 and noon; breakdown takes about 30 minutes.
This position will get you moving — moving tents, tables, signs, chairs, and other items around the Market site. Everything is stored in our on-site shed, and we have a cart to make it easier. You should be comfortable lifting about 20 pounds and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
You should be available for all or most of the season,
and you’ll receive training and support from our wonderful Market Manager. On the few days when the Manager can’t attend, you’ll be in charge of setup (with assistance).
