We are looking for a Senior Automation test engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience & below requirements

Key Responsibilities
Product & Quality Ownership
Own end-to-end quality for assigned product areas, from requirements to release sign-off.
Participate in requirement and design discussions; validate business workflows and customer use cases, including async and event-driven flows.
Define comprehensive test strategies across UI, APIs, and event-based systems.
Ensure coverage for BVT, Sanity, Regression, and Exploratory testing.
Automation & Frameworks
Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright/Selenium with Python or Java.




Build reusable abstractions for UI, API, and event-driven automation.
Establish frameworks and guidelines enabling reliable, low-flakiness automation adoption across teams.
Asynchronous & Event-Driven Testing
Test complex async workflows using Kafka or similar messaging systems.
Validate event schemas, contracts, ordering, retries, idempotency, and failure scenarios.
Design strategies for multi-hop flows, DLQs, replay, and eventual consistency.
Collaborate with engineering teams on observability and traceability.
Performance & Reliability
Execute performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter, k6, or similar tools.
Analyze production-grade metrics (P95/P99 latency, throughput, error rates).
Validate system behavior under spikes, partial failures, and downstream slowness.
Tooling, AI & CI/CD
Use Python/Java to build internal tools for test data, event mocking, and orchestration.
