Magna International, a global leader in auto parts manufacturing, is seeking a Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Bangalore, India. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong hands-on background in designing, deploying, and managing advanced network monitoring solutions. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure across a complex global setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Cisco-based network solutions, including routing, switching, and wireless networks.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Utilize Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and security policy enforcement.
- Manage and optimize network performance using Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Implement and manage common network technologies, including VLANs, VTP, BGP, SD-WAN and Spanning Tree.
- Design and deploy wireless networks, including performing wireless surveys to ensure optimal coverage and performance.




- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor network performance and security and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to support and enhance the overall network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network technologies.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco routing, switching, and wireless networks.
- Strong experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Proficiency in common network technologies such as VLANs, VTP, BGP, SD-WAN, Spanning Tree.
