Job Description We are looking for an experienced Finance & Compliance Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Tax
- Draft and file Income Tax Returns for Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) in consultation with tax advisors.
- Prepare and file responses to notices received from the Income Tax Department.
- Prepare and file Forms 64C, 64D, and 61B.
- Review and file quarterly TDS returns for AMCs and AIFs.
- Coordinate with advisors for Form 15CA and Form 15CB related to foreign remittances.
- Review the direct tax compliance status of portfolio companies.
- Participate in due diligence to identify and mitigate direct tax risks.
Indirect Tax
- Review and file GST returns and Annual GST Returns.
- Prepare responses to notices received from GST and other indirect tax authorities.
- Review the indirect tax compliance status of portfolio companies.
- Participate in due diligence to identify and mitigate indirect tax risks.
FEMA Compliance
- Assist in filing FC-GPR and FC-TRS forms.
- Coordinate with legal and tax advisors for FEMA compliance during foreign investor onboarding.
SEBI & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage corporate actions such as issue and redemption of fund units.
