VMC Machine Operator Tool Room JD/: VMC Setter Programmer Tool Room Key Responsibilities /: /- Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers /(VMC/) as per job requirements and engineering drawings /- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G/-code and M/-code for VMC machines /- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work/-holding devices for machining operations /- Perform first/-article inspection and in/-process quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy /- Monitor machine performance and make necessary offsets and adjustments during production runs /- Maintain and organize tool room equipment, tooling inventory, and fixtures /- Troubleshoot machining issues including tool breakage, dimensional deviations, and surface finish problems /- Coordinate with design and production teams to interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data /- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area /- Document machining parameters, tool life data,



and process records accurately ### Requirements / Qualifications /- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related trade /- Proven hands/-on experience in VMC setting and CNC programming /(G/-code/M/-code/) /- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T;, and technical specifications /- Experience with CAM software /(e.g., Mastercam, EdgeCAM, or similar/) is an advantage /- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters /- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and CMM /- Ability to work independently and manage multiple machining jobs simultaneously /- Good understanding of tool room practices, fixture design, and tooling maintenance /- Solid attention to detail with a quality/-first approach /- Experience in an automotive, engineering, or manufacturing environment is preferred regards, Nedhra /- HR
