Quality Supervisor Engineering & Production Quality Job Description Experience/: 3 to 6 yrs Salary/: Based on Company Norms Education/: Diploma/BE in Auto Location/: In And Around Chennai Your Duties/: Shift Quality Leadership & Team Supervision/: Oversee, assign, and manage shift quality inspectors, line auditors, and testing operators; make sure all production lines are fully covered; and promote a culture of safety and quality discipline. First/-Off/Patrol Inspection & Line Clearance/: Conduct routine hourly patrol inspections along production lines, sign off on line clearance, and conduct and approve 'First/-Off' sample inspections prior to the start of mass production. Real/-Time Defect Containment & Line Stop Authority/: Enforce defect containment procedures, tag questionable lots, stop non/-conforming parts from going downstream,



and immediately halt production lines upon identifying key quality non/-conformances. Standard Operating Procedure /(SOP/) & Control Plan Audit/: During shifts, check that operators are following line control plans, standard inspection guidelines, boundary samples, visual defect limit samples, and shop/-floor 5S quality requirements.
