Job Description – Application Support Engineer
Experience: 2–3 Years
Role Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer with experience in production support. The candidate will be responsible for application availability, incident resolution, deployments, monitoring, and coordination with infrastructure, development, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end application support and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
Coordinate with business, development, infrastructure, server, database, and security teams.
Proactively monitor application and server health to identify and prevent incidents.
Manage Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request tickets using ITSM tools.




Perform application deployments across UAT and Production environments.
Execute BOD/EOD activities and support infrastructure maintenance activities.
Prepare and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and support documentation.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and track defects through closure.
Analyze recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure high application availability, service quality, and adherence to ITIL best practices.
