Role Summary
The Applied System Engineer is responsible for the engineering design and technical execution of equipment packages within the Site Order Engineering team. The role ensures that assigned order engineering activities are completed in accordance with customer specifications, applicable national and international standards, Flowserve internal procedures, quality requirements, cost targets,



and delivery commitments.

This position develops complete engineering packages, including customer documentation, bills of material, manufacturing drawings, system calculations, design analyses, and test plans. The Applied System Engineer serves as a technical resource for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the order lifecycle, from proposal support through commissioning and warranty support.

This role reports to the Order Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
Proposal and Order Review
- Support proposal activities by performing pre-engineering assessments, defining technical scope, estimating engineering labor requirements, conducting risk assessments, and completing equipment FLO selections outside of eCPQ when required.
- Review order transfer files, customer specifications, contractual requirements, and project documentation to establish complete technical requirements.
