Responsibilities:
Database & SQL Expertise:
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support banking applications.
- Perform data extraction, manipulation, and reporting tasks using SQL.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance in database operations.
UNIX & Scripting:
- Use UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting to automate routine tasks and manage files, processes, and logs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot UNIX systems related to banking applications.
ITIL & Process Adherence:
- Follow ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and governance in daily tasks.
Banking Domain Knowledge:
- Understand core banking concepts and processes to support database and system operations effectively.
- Work closely with business and IT teams to implement banking-related solutions.
