Job Title: Sr. Server Administrator (SQL DBA)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Server Administrator to manage and optimize our database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MS SQL Server Administration , performance tuning, and high-availability solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security of databases.
- Manage database privileges, permissions, and user access control.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and enhance performance .
- Conduct periodic reviews and recommend process improvements .
- Implement and manage high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions .
- Use native tools to identify and resolve performance issues, deadlocks, and contention.
- Develop and implement backup, restoration,



and replication strategies .
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support deployment activities outside business hours.
- Ensure best practices in SQL Server architecture, documentation, and security .
- Provide 24x7 operational support and troubleshoot issues independently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as an MS SQL Server Administrator.
- Qualified certifications in SQL Server (preferred).
- Strong expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting .
- Experience with HA & DR configuration and management .
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly.
- Flexible, team player, and a proactive problem solver.
