Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will Support Leads a team of Procurement Specialists to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Power – Critical Power Business to be based at Nelamangala, BANGALORE, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supply Planning & Operations: Oversee site supply planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and S&OP;/S&OE; processes to ensure demand fulfillment, optimal capacity utilization, and on-time customer deliveries.
- Procurement & Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage procurement activities, negotiate supplier agreements, and ensure alignment with business objectives and company procurement policies.
- Supplier & Inventory Management: Manage inventory optimization, working capital improvements, supplier performance management, supplier development, and risk mitigation by diversifying the supplier base and reducing single-source dependencies.
