We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to drive the modernization of our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines as we migrate to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)leveraging Dataform for orchestration and transformation.
You will collaborate with multiple teams to create a scalable, effective, and future-ready data environment that supports advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Lead the migration of existing workflows to GCP's Dataform and establish a robust data pipeline framework.
- Build efficient systems for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to ensure data accessibility and integrity.
- Implement and monitor data governance, quality,



and performance standards.
- Optimize GCP resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance pipeline performance.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data transformation frameworks.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataform, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehouse architectures.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
- Solid understanding of data quality, observability, and reliability practices.
