Experience Required: 1 - 6 years in sheet metal or mechanical production environments
Education: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled qualified for the Sheet Metal Line Production role. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, hands-on experience in production lines, and the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage sheet metal production line processes.
- Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect and ensure quality standards on assembly and fabricated parts.
- Utilize tools such as AutoCAD and CREO Parametric for referencing and guidance.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in production settings.




- Handle basic troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery.
- Maintain documentation related to quality and production efficiency.

Desired Skills:
- Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, CREO Parametric, and CypCut (Fibre Laser Cutting).
- Basic knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations.
- Understanding of GD&T; principles.
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience as a Production Junior Engineer or Quality Inspector in manufacturing firms like VJS Auto Components or Madras Engineering Industries.
- Exposure to assembly line inspections and mechanical components testing.
