Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing all changes to the production setting. This includes the deployment process for application code and infrastructure changes; ensuring that the integrity of the production computing environment is maintained and downtime for the business is kept to a minimum. This is the second and highest level within the Change and Release Management job family.



The incumbent will provide guidance and direction to others in the team and is expected to lead projects of moderate scope and complexity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Continually reviews processes used for deployment of applications and infrastructure changes to ensure that they support industry best practices and internal audit requirements. Makes recommendations to management for process improvements.
- Educates IS development and infrastructure teams in the pre-deployment and deployment tasks and processes.
- Facilitates the production Release Management process according to established policies and procedures. Defines all pre-deployment activities and ensures that they are complete and documented prior to the deployment to UAT, pilot, and full implementation. Maintains and reviews the Release Readiness Checklist. Reviews deployment plans with developers to ensure that established procedures are followed throughout
