Build the intelligence behind AI-powered Claims Automation.
Hello there We're Infrrd.
Haven't heard of us before? No problem (it's pronounced In-fur-d).
We are Infrrd, an Enterprise AI company helping global enterprises extract data from complex, unstructured documents like invoices, contracts, engineering drawings, and handwritten notes. Our AI goes beyond data extraction to automate end-to-end workflows, reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and accelerating business operations.
About the Role
We're looking for a Claims Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Analyst to help build a next-generation AI-powered claims automation platform from the ground up.
This role blends deep P&C; claims domain expertise with hands-on Agile delivery experience. Unlike a traditional claims adjuster or a vendor-platform configuration specialist, this person needs to define claims process, data, and rules from a blank slate, there is no existing platform data model or workflow engine to lean on and translate that directly into user stories an engineering team can build against.
What You'll Do
Domain Translation & Requirements
Document the claims process end-to-end and translate adjuster judgment into explicit, codifiable rules
Define data fields and structures required at each claims stage from first principles — no pre-built data model to reference
Flag regulatory and compliance requirements (unfair claims practices acts, prompt payment laws) that must be reflected in system logic
Product Ownership & Agile Delivery
Own and prioritize the claims automation backlog; write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Run or co-facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, backlog refinement, sprint review) as the business-side product owner
Serve as the primary point of contact between claims operations stakeholders and the engineering team throughout the build
Rules & Workflow Design (From Scratch, Not Configuration)
Design decision logic and workflow states for the custom rules eng
