This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager
In this role, you will have the chance to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- As an associate Project Engineer – Automation, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end engineering and execution of automation projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals,
and emerging process industries.
- You will independently execute projects from FEED stage through commissioning and handover, acting as a technical interface to end customers, while ensuring compliance with ABB quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
- Execute automation projects from FEED / Concept Engineering through Detailed Engineering, FAT, SAT, Commissioning, and Project Closure
- Deliver engineering scope in line with contract requirements, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and cybersecurity policies
- Act as technical focal point for customers, EPCs, and internal stakeholders
- Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies
- Automation System Design & Engineering and Industrial Networking & Cybersecurity
