Purpose of the role
To provide advanced financial support to our business to function efficiently and effectively, by managing all aspects of indirect taxation for the company ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, optimizing tax positions, and supporting the company's financial strategies.
Key Deliverables
- Ensure compliance with GST, Customs, and other indirect tax regulations
- Prepare and file timely indirect tax returns
- Conduct tax audits and manage assessments
- Optimize input tax credits and refunds
- Provide tax advisory on business transactions
- Liaison with tax authorities and represent the company in tax proceedings
- Keep updated on changes in indirect tax laws and their impact on the business
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax efficient operations.
Desired Skills & Experience -
- Experience on SAP is must.
- Knowledge on various direct & indirect taxes.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
