- Highspeed PCB Design using Altium designer
- • Excellent understanding of ECAD design tools, specifically Altium.
- • In-depth knowledge of PCB design requiring differential pairs, high speed, controlled impedance, and high power.
- • Strong understanding of PCB design considerations for EMI/EMC, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), thermal management, and safety.
- • Experience with processor and BGA-based designs.
- • Comprehensive understanding of IPC standards.
- • Proficient knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
- • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- • Ability to thrive in a highly energetic environment
- Perform placement and routing of PCBs for engineering review using Altium
- Prepare PCB routing layout for engineering review
- Prepare PCB manufacturing data for use in PCB fabrication
- Generate accurate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings,
and manufacturing artwork using Valor and Blueprint PCB
- Drive evolution of corporate PCB design standards by keeping current on underlying PCB materials technology, fabrication and assembly processes and their application in new products.
- Conduct design feasibility studies to identify layout-related trade-offs on packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance for the engineering design team.
- Own the responsibility of final design packages which include output file checks and the generation of fabrication and assembly documentation
- Build and maintain part libraries following the defined processes, ensuring they are complete and correct.
- Collaborate with other team members as required
