Hiresquad Resources is seeking a Senior QAD Techno-Functional Developer to drive the architecture and delivery of complex custom solutions within the QAD ERP environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned qualified with deep hands-on experience in Progress 4GL, qXtend, and QAD Web UI , ready to lead major ERP rollouts and development-heavy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex customizations in QAD using Progress 4GL .
- Build and deploy advanced integrations utilizing qXtend, Web Services, and external APIs .
- Develop and enhance QAD Web UI / .NET UI applications.
- Drive ERP development projects from initial requirements gathering through to successful go-live.
- Architect scalable and reusable solutions that align with business needs and QAD best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, functional leads, and external vendors.




- Mentor junior developers and ensure strict adherence to coding and architectural standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and deployment documentation.

Required Skills
- QAD Development: 8-10 years of hands-on development experience in QAD ERP and Progress 4GL/OpenEdge .
- Integration Expertise: Expertise in designing and developing integrations using qXtend and QAD Web Services .
- UI Development: Strong experience in QAD Web UI or .NET UI development .
- QAD Knowledge: Solid understanding of QAD database schemas, tables, and process flows .
- Reporting: Experience in working on QRF (Reporting Framework) .
- Solution Design: Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
