We’re looking for exceptional college students to join our team and help us create a first-class sports facility. These roles are designed for students who have a passion for sports and want to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, qualified environment. Interns will get the opportunity to network with and learn from M:7 Sports staff and partners while building skills that translate beyond athletics.
Internship Roles
Interns may serve in a variety of roles based on interest, skills, and facility needs:
Sports Management Intern:
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Program Directors in ideation and execution of programs & events.
Help execute summer camps, leagues, and tournaments.
Develop programs for Winter & Spring Seasons.
Ideation of partnership implementation in M:7 Sports Pittsburgh programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or working towards a degree in marketing, exercise science, sports marketing/management, communication, or related field.
Experience as a student-athlete (High School and/or Collegiate), camp counselor, or youth coach.
Proven ability to take direction and input and to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve the organization's goals
Detail-oriented and organized
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to collaborate and work as a team member.
Passion for the sports industry.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing & Content Intern:
Assist with content ideation, creation, and posting across social media accounts and platforms.
Assist in event coverage under the guidance of management.
Write entertaining, accurate social media content as needed using the company's authentic voice.
Edit photos, short video moments to post across platforms.
Stay up to date with current trends to assist in developing social media strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
