Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Wax Setter with hands-on experience in diamond jewellery manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for accurately setting diamonds into wax models using various setting techniques while ensuring the highest standards of quality, precision, and productivity. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and the ability to maintain production targets without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wax setting using different setting techniques, including:
- Prong Setting
- Bezel Setting
- Pressure Setting
- Round Channel Setting
- Baguette Channel Setting
- Invisible (Princess) Setting
- Inspect wax pieces before and after the setting process.
- Check, count, and verify diamonds before use.
- Ensure proper alignment, level, and secure placement of diamonds in each wax piece.
- Carry out accurate prong melting and final finishing of the setting.
- Maintain the required quality standards throughout the setting process.
- Identify and rectify minor defects before forwarding the pieces for casting.




- Maintain records of quality checks, defects, and corrective actions, if required.
- Follow safety and quality guidelines established by the company.
- Coordinate with supervisors to ensure production targets are achieved.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achieve a daily production target of approximately 1,500 wax setting pieces (depending on design complexity).
- Maintain high-quality standards with minimal rework or rejection.
- Ensure accurate diamond counting and zero material loss.
- Complete assigned work within the defined production timelines.
