Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and identify the educational and developmental needs of Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
- Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support child progress.
- Deliver inclusive, child-centered teaching and learning interventions.
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain required records and reports.
- Provide counseling and guidance to parents and caregivers to strengthen home-based support.
- Conduct awareness and sensitization activities in schools and communities to promote inclusion.
- Coordinate with teachers, therapists, government departments, and other stakeholders for effective service delivery.
- Facilitate referrals and linkages to appropriate support services and schemes for CwSN.
- Participate in trainings, meetings, and career development activities.
- Ensure safeguarding, child protection, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.

Educational Qualification




- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (B.Ed. Special Education) / B.Ed. with Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed. Spl. Ed.) or equivalent qualification recognized by RCI.
- RCI registration is preferred.
- Additional certification in Inclusive Education, Indian Sign Language (ISL), or Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in teaching or supporting Children with Special Needs (CwSN) in inclusive or special school settings.
- Experience in preparing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and conducting functional assessments.
- Experience in working with government schools, teachers, parents, and education stakeholders is desirable.

Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and child-centered pedagogy.
- Ability to adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and classroom activities to diverse learning needs.
