Assistant Engineer – Process Control Automation (Dispatch)
Position Summary
The Assistant Engineer – Process Control Automation (Dispatch) is responsible for supporting dispatch operations through effective coordination of automated systems, monitoring process control parameters, ensuring timely movement of materials and finished goods, and maintaining accurate dispatch documentation. The role involves close interaction with production, warehouse, logistics, quality, and automation teams to ensure safe, productive, and compliant dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Operations
- Coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of finished products and materials.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and align shipments with production plans and customer requirements.
- Verify dispatch quantities, product specifications, and shipping documentation before release.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, transporters, and warehouse personnel for smooth dispatch execution.
- Track shipment status and update stakeholders on dispatch progress.





Process Control & Automation Support
- Monitor automated dispatch systems, conveyors, barcode/RFID systems, weighing systems, and material handling equipment.
- Support operation of PLC, SCADA, and warehouse automation systems related to dispatch processes.
- Identify and report abnormalities in automated dispatch and material movement systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues impacting dispatch operations.
- Ensure proper functioning of sensors, scanners, printers, and automated tracking systems.

Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain dispatch records, delivery notes, invoices, shipping manifests, and related documentation.
- Update ERP, MES, WMS, or inventory management systems with dispatch information.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch performance reports.
- Maintain records for audits, compliance reviews, and customer requirements.
