Job Summary: As a Staff Product Designer within our product design team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the product experience for JioHotstar customers. Leveraging your full range of interaction, visual, and product-thinking skills, you will lead and own product features. Collaboration with cross-functional teams dedicated to revolutionizing entertainment and storytelling will be key to delivering engaging and inclusive experiences for our users

ABOUT THE TEAM:
Design is integral to shaping the user experience at JioHotstar. We have 4 key areas of focus - Product Design, UX Research, Design Standards and Creative Studio. We are a closely-knit team of 30+ people at the moment, who work across the spectrum of design from deriving insight from data, designing interfaces and prototypes, and testing with users to motion graphics and illustrations.

Key responsibilities
● Lead the design of new products, interfaces, and user experiences across multiple platforms




● Utilize user behavior insights and feedback to iteratively refine designs, ensuring continuous optimization and enhancement of user experiences
● Employ storytelling to articulate a vision that fosters a shared understanding of the UX strategy across the broader team
● Apply strategic thinking to translate ambiguous opportunities into clear, actionable roadmaps.
● Cultivate a culture of collaboration and creativity, providing mentorship and support to promote the skilled growth of the design team
● Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to define problem statements and develop project execution plans
● Work closely with engineers and product managers throughout the design process, from concept to production, to create user flows, build UI mockups, and develop prototypes
