Onshore Structural Designer
KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for Onshore Civil & Structural Designer to support Onshore Oil & Gas Development Projects involving large-scale processing units, utility facilities and associated infrastructure. The project includes delivery of FEED and Detailed Engineering services for complex industrial facilities under fast-track execution schedules, requiring integrated 3D modelling environments and multidisciplinary coordination across global execution centers.
We are seeking a skilled Onshore Civil & Structural Designer with robust experience in 3D modelling and preparation of FEED and detailed engineering drawings for onshore facilities. The role involves developing structural models and drawings for pipe racks, equipment and foundation layouts, shelter structures, modular units, pile and shallow foundations, and tank base structures using modelling and drawing tools.
The candidate will work closely with all discipline engineering teams to produce accurate 3D models and construction drawings using E3D or Smart 3D (S3D), MicroStation and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design standards, and constructability requirements throughout FEED and Detailed Engineering project stages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D structural models for onshore industrial facilities including pipe racks, technological structures, shelters, platforms, and modular structures using E3D or Smart 3D (S3D).
- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings such as foundation layouts, equipment foundations, pile layouts, tank foundations, structural framing plans, sections, and details using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Model and detail various foundation systems including shallow foundations, pile-supported foundations, machine foundations, and equipment support structures based on engineering inputs.
