Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator (Mechanical) to lead and coordinate BIM activities for large-scale projects in the UAE/GCC region. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in LOD 350 Mechanical models, deep knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems, and proven experience managing BIM coordination workflows across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of LOD 350 Mechanical BIM models in compliance with project requirements and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

Manage and coordinate BIM activities for HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems across all project stages.

Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage, lead coordination meetings, and resolve clashes with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure accurate BIM data management and compliance with project standards using BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless model integration.

Prepare and review BIM deliverables, shop drawings, and construction documentation.

Support local authority submissions and ensure models comply with UAE building codes and regulations.

Provide technical guidance to BIM modelers and junior engineers.

Liaise with site teams to support construction, resolve technical issues, and update models based on site conditions.

Maintain and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across projects.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required to Execute this Role

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 10+ years of BIM experience, with a proven track record of delivering LOD 350 Mechanical models in the UAE or GCC region.

Robust hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
