Core Ansible Development Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Core (ad-hoc commands, playbooks, roles, inventories)
Writing modular, reusable playbooks and roles following best practices
Creating and publishing Ansible Collections




Developing and debugging custom Ansible modules (Python, PowerShell, or other languages)
Using Jinja2 templates for dynamic configurations
Proficiency with YAML syntax and structure
Automation & Integration
Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments
Integrating Ansible with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of Ansible Tower / AWX / Automation Platform for orchestrating workflows
Using Ansible Vault for managing sensitive data
Integration with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments
System & Infrastructure Knowledge
Strong background in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
Familiarity with Windows automation using Ansible (WinRM, PowerShell modules)
Networking automation (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, etc.)
Experience with VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift automation
DevOps & Scripting
Scripting knowledge in Python, B
