Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Engineer with 9–10 years of experience in a Machine Building OEM environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless material availability through effective supplier coordination, demand planning alignment, order execution, and delivery performance management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A proactive procurement skilled with 9–10 years of experience in a Machine Building OEM environment, capable of managing supplier schedules, forecast releases, delivery follow-ups, and material availability. The candidate should excel at coordinating with Planning, Quality, Production, Global Order Desk, and Suppliers to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations, strong supplier OTD performance of both localized and imported components, and continuous improvement in supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to understand short-term and long-term material requirements.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly cross-functional meetings to review demand forecasts, production plans, and material availability.
