Purpose of Role
The PGT Physics / Chemistry Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Physics and/or Chemistry for senior secondary students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The role focuses on developing conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, practical skills, and strong academic performance while preparing students for board examinations and higher education pathways.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics and/or Chemistry to Classes XI–XII as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessment tools.
- Deliver engaging and concept-based lessons using practical examples and demonstrations.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and effective revision planning.
- Conduct practical classes and laboratory sessions in accordance with safety standards.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
- Design and evaluate tests, assignments, projects,
and practical assessments.
- Analyze student performance and provide remedial or enrichment support as required.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Guide students in projects, research activities, science exhibitions, and competitions.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning workplace in the classroom and laboratory.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic reviews, and departmental planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Follow CBSE guidelines, school policies, and academic standards.
