Qualifications / Requirements
1.Awareness of engineering processes used in automotive manufacturing (e.g., welding, machining, molding, powder coating, and other surface treatments). 2.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
3.Valuable understanding of engineering standards and technical specifications. 4.Strong English communication, product costing and negotiation skills.
5.Awareness of current raw material (RM) market trends.
6.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Ability to prepare costing for parts and assemblies.
7.Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 8.Proficiency in MS Office-Excel and experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms.
9.DME/BE-Mech with 4 to 7 years’ experience.

Key Responsibilities
1.Handle NPD requirements from the Purchase function and coordinate activities to meet project timelines.
2.Study requirements and support supplier identification, evaluation, and selection.
3.Manage the RFQ process: obtain quotations,



compare offers, and perform should-cost analysis.
4.Prepare costing for parts and assemblies and maintain costing records as required.
5.Provide day-to-day costing support and act as backup for the existing team member.
6.Coordinate purchase-related activities: PO creation, sample development, on-time delivery follow-up, and issue resolution requiring Purchase support. 7.Support the manager with tracking reports and supplier performance feedback/analysis. Support other activities, including system and statutory audit requirements.
