Manager – Survey
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory
- Certification or training in Surveying / Total Station / Advanced Survey Techniques preferred
Experience
- 8 – 12 years of experience in construction surveying, preferably in high-rise building or large-scale construction projects

Role Overview
The Candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing all surveying activities at the construction site. The role involves ensuring accurate layout, level control, structural alignment, and dimensional accuracy for all construction activities.
The candidate will coordinate closely with construction managers, tower incharges, QA/QC teams, and consultants to ensure survey data is accurate and construction work is executed as per approved drawings and coordinates.
Key Responsibilities
Survey Planning & Management
- Plan and manage all site surveying activities for construction works.
- Establish primary and secondary control points and benchmarks for the project.
- Develop survey strategies to ensure accurate layout and positioning of structures.
Layout & Setting Out
- Oversee setting out of buildings, structural elements, and grid lines as per approved drawings.
- Ensure accurate layout of columns, walls, slabs, and other structural components.
- Monitor alignment and levels during construction activities.
Survey Equipment Management
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of survey instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, Dumpy Level, and GPS equipment.
- Verify calibration and accuracy of survey instruments periodically.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of surveying equipment.
Accuracy & Quality Control
- Verify survey data to ensure dimensional accuracy of structural works.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure construction tolerances are maintained.
- Conduct periodic checks to prevent misalignment or dimensional errors.
