Ciklum is looking for a Lead JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Lead JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow to contribute to the development of a production-ready platform. The technical vision focuses on building two core pillars:
- A scalable Marketplace
- A robust and consistent Workflow Engine

Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, scalable UI components based on provided design prototypes
- Lead frontend development using React.js and Next.js
- Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and build end-to-end solutions
- Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility




- Take ownership of frontend architecture and technical decisions
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices

Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in frontend/UI development
- Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Next.js
- Proven experience in UI development and building responsive web applications
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience working with REST APIs and backend integration
- Ability to lead development efforts and work in a collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable:
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary development tools
- Understanding of performance optimization and SEO best practices in Next.js
