Your Role:
- Responsible for the effective and efficient Accounting to Reporting (A2R) process, delivering IFRS‑based financial statements and management reporting for Atlas Copco (AC) Vacuum Technique (VT) entities.
- Lead a team of accountants responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all Group IFRS reports and financial documentation in line with Group policies and standards.
- Provide functional leadership to VAT Specialists, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant VAT reporting for assigned entities.

Main Responsibilities:

Principal Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop a team of accountants delivering IFRS‑based financial statements and management reporting for multiple entities in line with Group standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions in compliance with Group policies, procedures, and systems (“The Way”).
- Oversee financial controls, including GL and sub‑ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, and data quality.




- Manage and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing in accordance with Group reporting deadlines.
- Provide expert accounting and reporting support to business controllers, local entities, and holding companies.
- Support EU compliance, statutory reporting, and VAT matters for assigned entities, including communication with tax authorities.
- Act as primary contact for external and internal audits; lead audits and ensure timely provision of required documentation and explanations.
- Ensure high‑quality preparation and timely sign‑off of statutory accounts in line with Group timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process, system, and efficiency enhancements within the Service Center/Hub model.
- Demonstrate general knowledge in VAT related legislation and monitor regularly the last development in this area
- Actively support implementation of current Group policies and procedures.
