1. Role Summary

The Logistics Analyst is the analytics and data intelligence backbone of the Logistics function. Operating at the intersection of operations and data, this role is responsible for transforming raw logistics data into actionable insights that drive cost efficiency, speed, and service reliability across a pan-India distribution network.

As the organization scales from 550+ stores toward 1,200+ locations — spanning a Primary DC at Palwal, a Secondary DC in Bangalore, an FMCG DC in Guwahati, and an expanding cross-dock hub network — the Logistics Analyst will play a critical role in enabling a data-driven logistics control tower. The incumbent will own KPI tracking, dashboard development, exception reporting, and decision support for the Logistics Head and cross-functional stakeholders.

This is not a passive reporting role. The Logistics Analyst is expected to proactively surface insights, identify operational gaps, and recommend corrective actions — functioning as a strategic thought partner to senior logistics leadership.

2. Key Responsibilities

A.



KPI Tracking & Performance Analytics
- Monitor end-to-end logistics KPIs across cost, speed, fill rate, and service dimensions
- Transportation cost per case / per km / per vehicle
- On-time delivery rate (OTIF) by DC, route, and store cluster
- Vehicle utilization rate (volume, weight, and trip efficiency)
- Order-to-dispatch TAT and last-mile delivery TAT
- Fill rate and short-shipment trends at SKU and category level
- Fleet performance — own fleet vs. dedicated fleet vs. 3PL market vehicles
- Identify deviations, performance gaps, and anomalies against baseline and targets
- Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring exceptions and performance dips
- Track peak vs. non-peak logistics performance (normal: ~35 vehicles/day; peak: ~70 vehicles/day)

B. Dashboarding & Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain a multi-cadence logistics dashboard suite:
