Job Summary:

The Senior Python Developer will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing backend systems for a client-facing transaction portal. This position offers hands-on experience in Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django REST, with exposure to asynchronous processing, message queues, and high-volume transaction handling. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about clean coding, scalable backend architecture, secure development, and production support.





Key Responsibilities:
- Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django REST).
- Transaction & Concurrency Handling: Implement reliable, idempotent transaction flows and manage asynchronous processes using queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Production Support & Incident Management: Own, triage, and resolve production incidents with urgency and within SLA.
- Codebase Ownership: Quickly onboard into complex backend systems and independently deliver fixes and enhancements.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop automated tests and monitor system health to ensure reliability and maintainability.
- Performance & Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in system performance, scalability, and security.
- Secure Development Practices: Follow Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) with proper documentation and remediate vulner
