Job description: Strategic Sourcing
Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

You Will:
The Strategic Sourcing Engineer – EMS & ECP will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers for electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and electronic components parts (ECP). The role involves managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting new product development (NPD) projects from a sourcing perspective.

To be successful, you will be expected to:

Supplier Management & Development

Identify, evaluate, and onboard EMS and ECP suppliers (PCBA, connectors, sensors, controllers, wiring harness, etc.).

Drive supplier performance improvement in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and innovation.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long-term agreements with suppliers.

Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

2. Sourcing Strategy & Cost Management

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic components and EMS partners aligned with business goals.

Work closely with design and engineering teams to support make/buy decisions and value engineering initiatives.

Analyze cost breakdowns and identify opportunities for cost reduction and localization.

Track market trends, raw material indices, and technology developments impacting sourcing.
