Roles and Responsibilities - THT Equipment
- Install, commission, and validate THT equipment (wave, selective, manual stations)
- Set and optimize machine parameters (temperature, conveyor speed, flux settings)
- Ensure proper functioning of solder pot, preheater, and fluxer systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of THT equipment
- Troubleshoot machine issues and minimize downtime
- Calibrate equipment and maintain accuracy of process parameters
- Monitor machine performance and improve reliability and uptime
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for support
- Support production during line setup, changeover, and recent product trials
- Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and process standards
- Train technicians and operators on equipment handling and maintenance
- Maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and documentation
