About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering.
- Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 13-15 years of experience in expediting, procurement, supply chain, or project execution within Oil & Gas, LNG, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refining, or Energy sectors.
- Experience with EPC, EPCM, or major capital projects is preferred.
- Proven experience managing critical equipment suppliers and international supply chains.
Technical Knowledge:
- Experience with procurement and expediting of:
- Columns
- Reactors
- Pressure Vessels
- Heat Exchangers
- Pumps
- Compressors
- Packages and Skids
- Valves
- Piping Materials
- Structural Steel
- Electrical Equipment
- Instrumentation & Control Systems
Knowledge of:
- Manufacturing processes and fabrication activities.
- Vendor document review cycles
- Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- International logistics and shipping processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal & written communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Robust project scheduling and planning skills.
- Excellent supplier management and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to identify risks and drive recovery actions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Aconex etc.), and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-track project environments.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
