We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our established Chartered Accountancy (CA) firm in Surat. This role is integral to the firm’s financial operations, supporting clients across diverse industries with accurate tax compliance, statutory reporting, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing GST filings, and assisting in both internal and external audits. *Responsibilities:*
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly,



and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C) in compliance with the GST Act.
- Assist in the preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies, including TDS and advance tax compliance.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by compiling financial records, verifying transactions, and maintaining audit trails.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Liaise with clients to gather documentation, clarify discrepancies, and provide timely updates on compliance timelines.
