Job Title / Designation: Faculty – Screenwriting & Film Direction

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced academic professional in Screenwriting and Film Direction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in narrative development, character creation, script structuring, and visual storytelling. In addition to teaching fundamental and advanced filmmaking courses, the candidate will be responsible for mentoring students, developing curriculum, and contributing to the academic and creative environment of the institution.





Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Curriculum Development:
- Design and deliver fundamental and advanced courses in Screenwriting and Film Direction.
- Develop engaging lesson plans covering narrative structure, character development, shot composition, directing techniques, and production workflow.
- Guide students through the process of scriptwriting, pre-production, directing actors, cinematography, and post-production.
- Introduce students to industry-standard software such as Final Draft, short lister.
- Arrange / plan workshops, guest lectures, and interactive sessions on visual storytelling and filmmaking techniques.

Academic & Research Contributions:
- Stay updated with emerging trends in filmmaking, storytelling techniques, and digital media.
- Encourage students to engage in research projects, film critiques, and practical filmmaking assignments.
