The Cyber Engineering team at American Express is seeking a dynamic engineer for the role of Backend developer within the Information Security organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced capabilities involving emerging technologies including Gen AI.



As a key member of this team, you will have the opportunity to design and develop cutting-edge product capabilities utilizing emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to stay ahead of the evolving cyber threat landscape and protect American Express's digital assets.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with product managers, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
- Design, develop, and deploy backend applications using contemporary frameworks and best practices with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
