Key Responsibilities
Quality & Delivery Management

Own end-to-end test quality and timely delivery.
Ensure testing aligns with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Drive defect prevention, defect management, and quality assurance practices.

Test Strategy & Planning

Define Test Strategy, Test Approach, Governance Framework, Test Plans, Estimations, Resource Plans, and Execution Strategies.
Identify scope, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and mitigation plans.
Forecast and allocate resources based on project priorities and skills.

TCOE Governance & Process Excellence

Lead TCOE initiatives and establish testing standards, methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Ensure adherence to organizational processes, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
Conduct audits, corrective actions, and process maturity initiatives.

Stakeholder & Risk Management

Act as the primary contact for testing-related activities.
Collaborate with business, product, development, project, and UAT teams.
Proactively manage risks,



testing bottlenecks, escalations, and issue resolution.

Metrics, Reporting & Governance

Define, track, analyze, and report testing KPIs and dashboards.
Monitor test coverage, execution progress, defect density/leakage, rejection rate, requirement coverage, productivity, SLA compliance, and automation coverage.
Drive improvement through data-driven insights.

Project & Team Leadership

Track milestones, release readiness, onsite-offshore coordination, and governance reviews.
Manage multiple testing teams, mentor Test Leads/Test Engineers, conduct resource planning, skills assessment, and capability development.
Promote knowledge management, reusable assets, templates, and best practices.

Technology & Quality Improvement

Recommend testing tools, automation strategies, governance models, and process improvements.
Evaluate emerging testing technologies and support strategic quality initiatives.
