Description
- Execute daily shift activities and allocate work effectively to technicians and electrical staff.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance activities for electrical panels, motors, drives, and utilities.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns during shifts and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
- Perform corrective maintenance of production line equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Maintain departmental shift logbooks, maintenance records, and equipment history accurately.
- Monitor electrical health of production lines and recommend improvement actions.
- Carry out troubleshooting of PLC-controlled machines, VFDs, motors, sensors, and production line instrumentation.
- Ensure secure operation and maintenance of DG sets, LT panels, MCCs, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance planning to improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Utility, Quality, and Maintenance teams for planned shutdowns and maintenance activities.
- Assist in the implementation of energy-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the availability of critical electrical spare parts during shifts.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Follow GMP, Food Safety, EHS, and company engineering standards.
