Data Catalog Platform Engineer : -
* Data Catalog Platform Administration (Alation).
* Administer and maintain self-hosted data catalog environments on Linux.
* Perform platform upgrades, migrations, and backup/restore operations.
* Configure and troubleshoot metadata extraction and query log ingestion pipelines.
* Implement and support SSO and SCIM for user authentication and provisioning.
* Develop and maintain Python-based ETL workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
* Collaborate with data platform teams to maintain connectors and credentials.
* Manage customer support activities, including creating and tracking tickets in ServiceNow (SNOW).
* Provide operational documentation and root-cause analysis for incidents.
